bluebell getting a tire change
Alas, here we are back to regular old life in Addis after all the excitment of hosting Katie’s dad and brother.
Things are good, however Katie has come down with a rough cold and is laying in bed recouping as I write.
The struggles with technology and uber slow internet here persist despite our whining; we want more photos on the blog as bad as you do.
The next exciting visit we will recieve here in Addis is from my mom and my aunt “Boo” aka Lisa, who will both arrive on July 5th.
Bluebell the VW beetle continues to reliably growl past Russian Lada’s left and right, and most all the other vehicals in Addis save the occasional Beamer. She had a flat tire the other day, but the crisis was quickly averted with the spare she hides under her hood.

K&L, sorry to hear that Katie’s not feeling well. I hope the cold passes quickly. I noticed your comment about not being able to upload pictures, does that mean you couldn’t view the pics we sent of Coco either? Despite all of my worries about taking her in, she has become the light of my life. You were right, I have grown to love her and all her quirks; she is a lot of fun and makes being home a lot more pleasurable.

Feel better soon, Katie, so you are ready for the next unslaught of visitors–namely me and Kathy! I’m really looking forward to the visit and hearing even more about your historical circuit trip, as well as speeding through Addis in Bluebell.

Katie, I’m so sorry you are under the weather. I know that Luke is taking good care of you. I loved reading Bruna’s comments about Coco; she’s a great kitty. Makes me miss her, even! Hang in there, sweetie pie. Love, Mom
